The next outing for Salon y’Strel – and almost by the seaside – will be in Bridport on Friday 8th May at The Lyric Theatre. We’ll be helping to celebrate the opening of The RopeWalk Fair – a weekend of the Bridportian obsession with rope and string (strange people)
A set of Victorian music hall songs is what’s been asked for – how could we possibly refuse!
Well – what a turn-up and a turn-out that was!
A full-house (and everyone stayed to the end, as far as we could see).
And we enjoyed it SO MUCH that we’ll be appearing at Odcombe Village Hall again for one of our Halloween spectaculars on Saturday 31st October which is – not surprisingly – HALLOWEEN!
The chances are that, somewhere in the house you have a place where everything that doesn’t fit anywhere else seems to have settled; too valuable to chuck out and too – well, er – out of place to put in any particular place.

y’Strel’s Band started as a folk outfit, then the music starting taking a few weird turns so that by now its across between an Aladdin’s Cave of Gorgeous Musical Mystery – and the fluff you find in the bottom of your turn-ups.
